It hurts with the distance though it’s there
It calls the attention to spare
It brings the fluttering with a glow
It breaks the fabric of existence
It mends hearts with its light
It does everything and nothing at the same time
But I must allow it

I stare into the lights above only to find that they are lost too.
Shining because they feel no other purpose.
They tend to wander about seeming as if they don’t even care to know.
If they should possibly find their place what would change?
Would they feel more accomplished?
If they knew they were doing all in naught would they stop their perilous journey of waste?
Nay…I think they are just as the bird wandering towards a destination their instincts beckon them towards.
But if it only instinct without knowledge was there anything worth knowing to begin with?
Nay Again.
So let Them come. Let Them go.
They seek naught a place of refuge more a place of sense.
And whether or not either make perfect sense
who are we to Judge.
